Description
Torx Washer Head Screws. These self-countersinking screws have a unique under head design that acts like a circular saw blade transporting the “drill dust” away from the edge of the screw hole while cutting a perfectly clean hole into even the most brittle materials without cracking any surface treatment. The Head is cut at a 90° angle which allows it to fit perfectly into the precut holes of hardware including locks and hinges. The versatility in this design is enhanced by allowing the fastener to be installed without countersinking into even the hardest woods. The screw head closes the hole, leaving no damaged fibers around the head. They are the modern version of the famous lag screw. These screws work well when working with treated lumber. This screw works with wood (including treated lumber), particle board, plastic, sheet metal, cement fiberboard and melamine.
