Alkyd primer
STEEL-IT 2203 is intended for use with STEEL-IT 1002 Polyurethane Topcoat when (1) weldability is not a desired benefit and (2) where, in certain environments, the substrate may become exposed (e.g., a forklift grazes a machine). In such an instance, STEEL-IT 2203 provides the added benefit of practically preventing corrosion on the exposed substrate from propagating.
Aerosol products
As with all STEEL-IT Brand Coatings, STEEL-IT Polyurethane Aerosol products feature custom-engineered, 316L stainless steel flake and provides superior protection against corrosion, abrasion, salt, alkalis and other chemicals. The coating provides the added benefit of being weldable, UV-resistant, and USDA compliant for incidental food contact. STEEL-IT Polyurethane withstands high-pressure washdowns and detergents without chipping or flaking, a critical feature in so many applications across industries.
Top coat
As with all STEEL-IT Brand Coatings, STEEL-IT Polyurethane Topcoat products feature custom-engineered, 316L stainless steel flake and provides superior protection against corrosion, abrasion, salt, alkalis and other chemicals. STEEL-IT 4210 Epoxy Primer is intended for use with STEEL-IT 4907 Epoxy Topcoat where, in certain environments, the substrate may become exposed (e.g., a forklift grazes a machine). In such an instance, STEEL-IT 4210 provides the added benefit of practically preventing corrosion on the exposed substrate from propagating.
