Description
Weatherproof Bulb-Tite Rivet w/Seal Washer. Bulb-Tite Rivets function in materials where other fasteners fail. They can be installed in fiberglass without crazing and plastics without cracking. They fasten thick or thin, hard or soft metal sheets, hardboard, foam-cored panels, reinforced plastic and plywood. Bulb-tite rivets cannot be overdriven. They cannot strip out. Bulb-tite blind rivets get their amazing clamping power from the patented upsetting action. When the positioned rivet is pulled (by either hand or power tool) the three slotted hollow sleeve segments compress into bulbs. Available in Aluminum or Steel.
